Enterance Columns
After seeing so many graveyard columns out on the web, I decided I better get busy and make some for my graveyard.
Simple but Effective
This is a cheap and easy way to decorate around the exterior edge of the column with Dollar Store Party Favors.
I attached the hands and skulls around all four sides of my columns.
I needed more height on top of my columns for my pre-bought foam skull statues. So I decided to layer various widths of foam board together to create steps. I glued the foam boards together using liquid nails. I used my hot knife to burn/melt the edges of the steps to give the appearance they were chiseled from stone. I did the same thing to the outer seams of my columns.
Final step paint and add age. You can also see the plastic chain attached to the eyehooks previously attached to the frame. As an added note – make sure you put something under your columns before you paint them….don’t lead by my example on that one
