History
Halloween Past
I started my yard haunt in 2004 with a simple graveyard scene. Excited for the haunt season in 2005, I made a couple of new props only to have them stolen two days later by undead miscreants (I didn’t even get pictures of them). I was absolutely devastated and sick over it. Unfortunately when 2006 rolled around, I did not set-up my haunt yard. It was the most depressing Halloween ever. After coaxing and persuasion from family, friends, and my children, I was back on the haunt scene in 2007.
Although most of my props in 2007 were, to say the least, cheesy, I was still the scariest house in the neighborhood. The inflatable mummies and vampires were no match for my diabolical death scenes. Muahahahahaha! 2008 was really my first year in experimenting and expanding my prop building knowledge. So look out….I want bigger, better and scarier in the years to come. I don’t want to just scare the visitors….I want to haunt their dreams….I won’t be happy until someone brings a priest along with them trick-or-treating for protection…
Early attempts…
