2009 was a very busy year here at the Haunted Cauldron. From starting my own website to share my little obsession with fellow Halloween enthusiasts, to going to my first Haunt Conventions (MHC, GLFF & IronStock), hosting first “Make and Take” here at the Cauldron as well as traveling to Indiana to co-host the first “Bastards of GoE” Make and Take and somehow…
I still managed to add several new props to my growing collection.
I have several plans in the works already for 2010, so make sure you keep checking back for updates.
I love email so feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions about my props….Oh and don’t forget to sign my Guest Book and tell me what you think of the site.
Happy Hauntings

Helpful Tip to save all those purchased Window and Wall Clings.
Since the paper backings they come with seem to never stay in one piece in my house or I can never get the cling to actually cling back to the curled up backing, I started using this technique a couple of years ago. As soon as I peel the cling off the wall, window or shower tile, I stick it immediately to a plastic freezer bag. This has proven extremely useful over the past several years for easy storage as well as helping maintain their usability for another Haunt Season (as seen in below photo).

Laser Vortex
I built my own laser vortex for the 2009 Haunt Season (which really stole the show). I have to tell you, it was a HUGE success during my Halloween Party and ToT. The facial expressions, gasps and stares of awe were well worth the $30.00 to build it. Words used to express the Vortex ranged from “Cool”, “Sweet”, “That is Tight”, “Awesome”, to my personal fav “That is RAW”. Several parents came back by the house to find out how it actually worked and how they could get one after Trick or Treat was over (which was way cool). I set my Vortex up pointing from the back of my garage with red lights in opposite corners….turning one side of my garage into a Lost Souls Vortex (as seen in below photos).
